A Dual-band High Impedance Surface mounted with a spiral antenna for GNSS applications

Abstract : A low profile and dual-band High Inpedance Surface to be used as a Artificial Magnetic Conductor for a GPS antenna is presented here. The two bands designed compelete in simulation and in measure the GNSS characteristics.
