Résumé

The overall objective of the PhD is the investigation of the GNSS Signal-in-Space (SiS) deformations due to the satellite payload and its effect on a civil aviation GNSS user. Although detailed worked has been performed on this topic for GPS L1 C/A, this presentation comes in the context of the modernization or development of new GNSS and augmentation systems for which legacy considerations might have to be revised. This presentation will discuss two main points. In a first part, the definition of threat models (TM) due to payload failures for new GPS and Galileo signals will be proposed. These models represent expected GNSS signal deformations generated at payload level which might occur in faulty conditions. In the second part of the presentation, new signal quality monitors (SQM), meant at detecting signal distortions that could create large errors on SBAS users, will be proposed and compared in the light of the defined threat models.
